Components of a network system 

A network of is a set of equipments interconnected by means of cables or waves.

They consist on: 

•  Servers: computers of the network with high-level hardware and a specific software to centralize and to control the network, give such services as control the Internet access, the safety of the files, current accounts and passwords of the users etc.

• Working stations: they are the IT equipments used by the users of the network.

Conduits: it is the form of communication.

• Devices of connection: hardware that allows to create the network and to distribute the signals.

• Software of the network: program installed with the operating system that allows to form the parameters necessary for the network.

• Peripheral: they communicate with all the working stations, to avoid to duplicate resources.

 Windows in network 

The operating system has the whole software necessary built-in to be able to be employed at network. Depending on the version of windows, the system will be more orientated to the work as a server or as client. Once installed the network physically, it is necessary to form the protocol of communication, most used it is the protocol Tcp / Ip.
