What is it?

A computer equipment is a machine with the ability to operate a data set.

It consists of two clearly differentiated parts: the Hardware and the Software.

• Hardware items (the physical part of the computer).

- Motherboard: where you connect the rest of components.
- Data Procesor: is the brain of the computer
- Ram: It saves the temporaly data of the computer.
- Hard drive- it stores data
- BIOS: controls the hardware connections and the boot of the system
- Ports : are the cables through which signals circulate between elements of the CPU
- Expansion card: connects the Motherboard to add or improve the functions of the computer.

• Software items: (the logic of the computer)

         Operative system: It is the software that manages all the interactions of the components of an             IT system

• Comunication system (it is an exit that has the IT equipment that allows to exchange information with a device hardware)

• Type of port

1. PS/2 – to connect the keyboard and the mouse
2. USB -for the connections of peripheral on the computer.
3. Firewire -made communications at high speed without it being necessary of a intermediary 
4. Video - it exists a  VGA port for connections of analogical DVI and HDMI video port, and in the case of digital monitors. audio-minijack connectors identified by their colors blue, green and pink (audio input, audio output and microfon 
5. External comunications -Used to connect cables of telephony and devices of communication by means of cables of network, of local areas
